How to use yoga blocks to CHALLENGE yourself during yoga!

Yoga blocks are great for modifying your practice and helping you to get deeper into poses safely. However, many do not realize that yoga blocks can do more than just modify yoga poses. In fact, did you know that you can use yoga blocks to actually challenge yourself even more during yoga?

In the video above, we demonstrate how to practice warrior II with yoga blocks to make the pose more difficult. In this version of the sequence, the yoga blocks are used almost like weights. This practice involves dynamic movements to increase strength in the muscles. This is a great way to open up the shoulders and increase mobility in the joints.

The sequence demonstrated above takes a common pose and enhances it to make it more challenging for those practicing it. This is a fun way to change up your practice and make it more fun and engaging.
