I can’t rate this item as it was for a Christmas gift exchange. I will ask the person who got it and let you know.

I enjoy the shorter format and efficiency of this video series and the instructor despite the over hyped cover photos is very personable, knowledgeable and approachable. I found after going through the videos that it is VERY beginner and not very challenging. I wish I could return it and try the higher level series by the same instructor and producer.
I guess my yoga knowledge is more intermediate than beginner, so the responsibility is on me for not realizing that before the purchase. My background is has been Bryan Kest’s Power Yoga and I wanted something faster paced and ore efficient, but not less challenging.

Good product

not really for beginners, its too fast. I really thought I would be able to follow.
If someone has any suggestions on a real beginners yoga program, please let me know.
Deirj –
Goes a little to fast for beginners. But enjoy the routine I can keep up with

Yoga is introduced in a manner that is easy to imitate and after a few weeks I have indeed noticed improved balance and strength in my arms, abs, and legs. Unfortunately I have also managed to aggravate an old lower back injury with this program–I think I have been getting too deep into the poses and my back pain has worsened, not improved! My spine pops a lot now, and it’s making me nervous! I noticed that even he has a lot of LOUD popping of joints as he steps and bends, so I’m a little worried that there is something a bit off with the routine. I think this was worth getting to start off, allowing me to learn the poses and movements, but I think it has way too much spine work, and could easily result in another bad injury if I’m not careful. I think I will try adapting the workouts–and keep the back stretches very, very limited.

B. S. Wells –
Very, very beginner, which is good, and he is very easy to listen to, but the sequencing of poses was a little meh. Not very exciting.
