A great way to keep your spine protected and your posture aligned is to work on your core strength.
Lack of core strength can actually contribute to back pain. This is due to the fact that a weak core puts more pressure on the spine, not offering much support. This is why it is essential to keep the core strong. In addition, working on the strength in the lower back and hips can also help to protect them, decreasing levels of pain and discomfort.
Keeping the hips and hamstrings stretched out helps as well, preventing the muscles of the thighs and hips from pulling on the lower back and causing pain.
